Read each attribute for a different purpose
Health relates to survival risk and being able to work. Happiness reflects satisfaction with the life. Knowledge affects schooling and work opportunities. Relationships summarizes social bonds and feeds into family and social events. The original explicitly presents outcomes as dependent on more than these four numbers.

Use focus to address the current problem
The adult menu describes Focus on work as raising income and promotion prospects while reducing health and relationships. Balance offers a little of everything; Family & friends raises relationships and happiness; Health care improves health with a small money trade-off. The available focuses vary by life stage.
Choose deliberately, then inspect the next years’ record. A continuing pattern of exhaustion is a reason to reassess your work plan. A one-point movement without context is less informative than a new injury, chronic problem or relationship event.
Learn from concrete counterexamples
Masud had knowledge 97 at 18, but university admission was described as about even because means and available places still mattered. Later, paid counseling failed. These are useful reminders that a favorable score or helpful action changes possibilities without determining the result.
Do not read a country average as an individual bar. GDP per person is not salary, and life expectancy is not remaining time. Keep the character panel, country data and decision-specific odds separate when deciding what to do next.
